DA20-C1

DA20-C1 – Evolution/Eclipse

The Diamond Evolution/Eclipse (DA20-C1) is a modern two-seater used for basic pilot training by flight schools around the world, including the US Air Force. It is more performant than the widely-used Cessna C152 and has features such as a brisk injected engine, an electric trim, and has an almost unrestricted view from the canopy. The only difference between Evolution and Eclipse is that the latter has rear windows. Despite its similar looks, the DA20-C1 is not to be confused with its Rotax-powered little brother “Katana” (DA20-A1) that has 25 hp less in power. The newest Eclipse in our fleet is equipped with G500 and GTN650, and even the oldest one, with traditional instruments, has the Garmin GNS430 radio/GPS.
