Flight Instructors (Helsinki and Tampere)

  • Both full-time and part-time positions open.
  • Stationed at Helsinki (EFHF/EFHK) or Tampere-Pirkkala (EFTP).
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel (including weekends) is an asset.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • A valid EASA CPL(A) licence, medical and SEP ratings.
  • Current SEP/IR (or substantial IFR experience).
  • English proficiency ICAO level 5 or 6 (other language skills are a strong asset).
  • FI(A), IRI(A) or CRI(A) ratings are highly valued.
  • Experience in professional pilot training instruction and/or management.

We are primarily looking for experienced instructors, motivated low-hour junior flight instructors may also apply. We will also consider candidates not holders of a FI-rating with more than 200h of flight experience. We will provide FI-training for selected candidates not holders of instructor ratings.

We expect you to have good flying skills and a safety-first attitude. Equally important are your interest and skills in teaching, your ability to listen and adapt the style of your instruction to students of various backgrounds, and your desire to provide an outstanding customer experience. These are flight instructor positions, but we put a lot of emphasis on quality ground instruction in our training. We put the client first, and our clients are individuals expecting to see instructors with professional attire and attitude.

Aeropole Oy (EASA FI.ATO.2016) provides premium professional and private flight training on its fleet of modern Diamond aircraft at Helsinki-Malmi, Tampere, Kuopio and Jyväskylä airport and in Aalborg and Karup in Denmark via it’s subsidiary Aeropole Denmark (EASA DK.ATO.11).

Marketing Specialist

Software Developer/IT Manager

We have a broad range of various ICT needs ranging from PC/Mac helpdesk and setting up printers to more complex software development. The detailed role description will be shaped around the successful candidate.

  • One open position: full-time or part-time
  • Stationed at Helsinki-Malmi (EFHF) or Helsinki-Vantaa (Aviapolis).
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends) is an asset, but not strictly required — flexibility would work both ways.

Your tasks and skills would comprise:

  • Basic network technologies (hardware) and general-purpose computing: managing routers, firewalls, (virtual) servers
  • Patiently assisting users with both Windows and Mac as well as IOS and Android devices.
  • Development using one or more of the following: PHP, Laravel, Filemaker, Microsoft Access, MySQL, WordPress
  • Producing user-readable documentation in English for the software developed.
  • Amazon, Google
  • Knowledge of FORTRAN or Cobol is an asset, as is  knowledge of any flight simulation software/devices.
  • Being able to install custom hardware, do cabling work etc. hands-on mechanical work is appreciated.

Part-66 Aircraft Mechanic (Helsinki)

  • Two open positions: one full-time and one part-time. The other is for a Senior profile with extensive experience and the other for a Junior profile under the supervision of the former.
  • Stationed at Helsinki-Malmi (EFHF) or Tampere-Pirkkala (EFTP).
  • Ability to work flexible hours (including weekends) is an asset.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • A valid EASA Part-66 aircraft mechanic licence.
  • Experience with Diamond or other composite-structure aircraft, Continental, Austro and/or Thielert engines and Garmin avionics.
  • Experience from working in a 145/F organisation.
  • Knowledge of computer and automation systems (e.g. relative to PC-based FSTD’s, Garmin G500/G1000, autopilots, …)
  • Good command of the English language.

Training Coordinator (Helsinki)

  • One open position: full-time or part-time.
  • Stationed at Helsinki-Malmi (EFHF), Helsinki-Vantaa (Aviapolis) or Tampere-Pirkkala (EFTP).
  • You would be coordinating the entry, progress and exit of clients onto our modular courses (practical flight training) as well as the Diamond Cadet programme.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • This is for a relatively Senior profile with either extensive experience in coordinating training programmes, monitoring student progress, reporting to management on production status outside the aviation domain; OR a more Junior profile with sufficient experience in aviation training to be able to perform the above duties by starting with strong functional skills (incl. good and detailed knowledge of Part-FCL requirements) and growing into a bigger management role.
